Located 3.5 km from our campsite in south Finistère, in the seaside resort of Fouesnant-Les Glénan, Beg-Meil is a charming village with many natural and cultural attractions.
It’s a lovely spot to explore, especially in the summer, with its beaches, restaurants, shops and beautiful Belle Époque mansions! Don’t miss the seaside resort of Bénodet either, just 8 km from our campsite. One of Beg-Meil’s most popular beaches is Kerambigorn, set in a wild, natural environment. Long and lined with oyats, it’s ideal for families and relaxation seekers alike. In summer, it also hostssports activities such as beach volleyball and sandball, perfect for teenagers.

Les Dunes and Kermyl beaches
More intimate, the Dunes and Kermyl beaches are two white sandy coves located near the tip of Beg-Meil. Here, you can swim in peace and quiet, read a book or simply enjoy a picnic overlooking the ocean, in a postcard-perfect setting just a few kilometers from our campsite near Beg-Meil.
Hiking on the GR34 from your campsite near Beg-Meil
When you stay at La Piscine campsite, you’re ideally situated for all the activities and leisure activities on offer in South Finistère. For walkers, don’t miss the Chemin des Douaniers (GR34) linking the Pointe de Beg-Meil to Cap-Coz. This coastal path offers spectacular views of turquoise waters, hidden coves and the Glénan archipelago. You’ll pass along the beaches of Les Oiseaux, Kerveltrec and Lantecoste, perfect for a contemplative break or a refreshing swim.
